Julia Barton is a contemporary artist who works locally in the beautiful North Tyne Valley National Park and internationally as a contemporary artist and sculptor. Her work takes inspiration from the landscape and the spirit built environments. Julia has an international reputation of mixing contemporary and organic materials that achieve an innovative and thoughtful approach to a broad spectrum of what is recognised as landscape.

In 2006 Julia is offering to run group workshops from her studio specifically for schools and groups of artists wishing to explore the environment with creative sculpture and printmaking.
